The Screenshots

I found most screenshots (Windows 1.01 - Windows 3.11) on the net with Google Image-search (as an example see http://toastytech.com/guis/). I do not have running copies from these ancient versions and I will not answer any emails asking for copies.

The screenshots from Windows 95 - Windows XP are made using VMWare on Linux and MS-SELECT-CD-ROMs of my company. After every installation I deleted the VMWare-discs to save space. I just wanted the screenshots, personally I prefer Mandrake Linux.

Copies of Windows 1.01 - Windows 286

As I mentioned above I do not have copies of these Windows-versions. Do not use illegal copies of software on your system found somewhere on the Internet or received by a friend! If you have no money to buy legal software use Linux instead - if you are favorite to Microsoft, Microsoft Linux may be the right solution for you.
